My crochet mojo has come and gone of late. The number of projects I have started but not finished is scary. Many of them are so close to being finished, but alas, they sit in my baskets - and closets - and chairs undone. It is a sad state of affairs. My hope is that if I embarrass myself with the number of undone projects I have lying around I’ll be able to redeem myself with a similar number of finished objects. Let the embarrassing begin.

I love this little Noro pouch, but I need to line it. The material I originally chose is behind the pouch. When I bought it I loved it. Now I’m not so sure. Part of me is screaming just line the silly thing already! Another (obviously more stubborn) part keeps holding off and looking for other material. Something silky maybe, or some funky vintage print. I don’t know.

This should be a little bag with a draw string at the top. The bag, however, is not sewn together, and I have not made the cord for the draw string. Once it is made it will also need to be lined. Unlike the Noro pouch, I love the material I chose for this bag. It makes me smile every time I see it.

See? How can you not smile at that. The world needs more pink frogs.

This will - eventually - be a little Tiramisu blanket. Cute, eh? I really don’t know why this blanket has taken me so long. Maybe because I don’t have a mommy or baby waiting for it. I loved the pattern when I saw it, so I grabbed some yarn from my stash and started making it. Now I just need to finish making it. Soon. Like before 2050. That would be good.

That’s all the pictures I have for you today, but that is not the end of my ufo (unfinished objects) list. Oh, no no. Tomorrow I will share with you the scarves and stoles that are weeping for completion. Just listen. Can you hear their quiet sobs? Yeah, that’s my fault.

Currently…

Loving these.
Starting a new collection (I love the pink ones).
Wanting to buy everything here.
Reading this blog.
In love with this idea.
Listening to a fun podcast.
Happy I found this great site.

Enjoy! I’m off to browse some more.

Ravelry

I am still hanging out at Ravelry when I get the chance. If you knit or crochet at all, or even think you might like to pick up a hook or needles someday, I highly recommend checking out this site. It has so much to offer, and Casey and Jess, the site owners, have gone out of their way to make Ravelry wonderful. Yes, I know I’m gushing. I could continue, but instead I’m going to give you a chance to see for yourself.

I have been given 10 invites to Ravelry to hand out to friends. If you’d like one leave a message in the comments section or send me an email (veronica AT ectospheno DOT com). First come, first served. Let your curiosity get the best of you. As far as I know cats don’t surf the net, so I’m pretty sure you’ll be safe.
